TWO MAYBE MORE

Two Maybe More, created by Marco Martins for Teatro Maria Matos, was born out of the encounter of the choreographers Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz with the Gulbenkian Choir. In collaboration with composer Pedro Moreira (commissioned by the Gulbenkian Foundation) and writer Gonçalo M. Tavares, these two entities step outside their comfort zone to dispute a no man’s land between their different artistic areas, using the small everyday gestures of the choreographers against the massive movements of the choir. Between harmony and tension, we must suddenly face one of the most passionate disputes of our time: the dispute between the individual and the common.
